Deputy Warden Philip Campbell

Campbell began his career in 2005 as a correctional officer at Roederer Correctional Complex. In 2006 he promoted to classification and treatment officer at Luther Luckett Correctional Complex (LLCC). He was promoted again in 2010 to unit administrator I and in 2014 to unit administrator II at LLCC. In 2015 he promoted to an administrative section supervisor at KSR.

Campbell has overseen several living unit and acted as the institutional transfer and internal move coordinators at LLCC and KSR. Additionally, he has served as a public liaison officer and a Kentucky Offender Management liaison. He received departmental Achievement Awards in 2015 and 2017.

Campbell is a graduate of the 2015 Commissioner's Executive Leadership Program. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor's degrees in history and government in 2004.
