Supporting Others in Active Recovery (SOAR) is a male-only program within the Division of Addiction Services' programming at Northpoint Training Center (NTC) that began May 1st, 2019. Since graduates of the Division's programming are more vulnerable in the prison general population, SOAR helps them to stay safe and sober after completing their program. SOAR is focused on relapse prevention, education, and reentry. Currently there are 88 beds in the SOAR dorm at NTC. This dorm i open to Addiction Services and Moral Reconation Treatment (MRT) graduates. SOAR clients follow the My Ongoing Recovery Experience (MORE) curriculum.
Reentering American Communities with Hope (REACH) is a six-month long, male-only program at Marion County Detention Center (MCDC) that is open to graduates of the Division's programming. REACH serves a similar purpose as SOAR. REACH clients can participate in program that cover anger management, MRT, and relapse prevention. Currently there are 8 beds in the REACH dorm at MCDC.
