​District Supervisor - Keith Hedgespeth

Hedgespeth began his career with the Division of Probation and Parole in 2009 as a probation and parole officer in Bardstown supervising a caseload from Nelson and Larue counties. In 2012, he transferred to the Campbellsville office and supervised Marion County probationers and parolees. In addition to supervising a full caseload, Hedgespeth served as a firearms instructor and field training officer for the division.

Hedgespeth was promoted to an assistant supervisor in District 6 in 2018. He was certified as an internal affairs investigator in 2019 by the Legal and Liability Risk Management Institute. He was promoted to the position of operational integrity officer for the division in 2021. This role included overseeing Internal Affairs and Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) investigations. In addition to his regular duties, Hedgespeth presented PREA information to each Probation and Parole basic academy class and served as a member of the division's firearms board.

With a major in political science and a minor in criminal justice, Hedgespeth graduated from Campbellsville University in 2005. He is a graduate of the 2013 Commissioner's Executive Leadership Program and the recipient of the department's 2016 Achievement Award for District 6.
