Apology Letter Bank

Overview

The Apology Letter Bank allows statutory victims to receive notification if an incarcerated individual submits an apology letter. This service provides victims the opportunity to access communication that may support their healing process.

How to Qualify

To participate in the Apology Letter Bank, the following requirements must be met:

  • You must be the statutory victim of the current offense for which the offender is incarcerated.
  • Statutory victims are defined by KRS 421.500.
  • You must complete and submit an Apology Letter Notification Request to be added to the notification list.
  • You must notify the Victim Services Branch of any changes to your mailing address to ensure proper delivery of notifications.
