Warden Brandy Harm

Harm began her career at BCFC on July 1, 2004 as a classification and treatment officer. She was promoted to a classification and treatment officer II in July 2006 and remained at BCFC until her promotion to deputy warden at Blackburn Correctional Complex in November 2010. She supervised programs until 2012 and then security until April 2016 when she returned to BCFC as the procedures development coordinator.

Harm's various duties have included public information officer, grievance coordinator, transfer coordinator, Jaycees coordinator, AA and NA facilitator, STG coordinator, PREA coordinator and ACA team member. She has also supervised the dormitories and the institutional classification area, as well as assisted with internal affairs investigations and acted as the PREA compliance manager.

A 2003 graduate of Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky, Harm earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice and sociology. She is a graduate of the 2009 Commissioner's Executive Leadership Program and the recipient of a 2015 Commissioner's Award.
