Warden Tim lane

Lane began his career in 1995 as a correctional officer at WKCC. He was promoted to sergeant in 2001 and lieutenant in 2004. As lieutenant, he served as the institution's internal affairs officer. In 2008, he was promoted to captain and in 2011 was promoted to unit administrator I. He was promoted to unit administrator II and transferred to the Kentucky State Penitentiary (KSP) in 2014. In 2015, Lane was promoted to deputy warden at the Ross-Cash Center. A year later, he returned to KSP as deputy warden.

During his career, Lane served as a forestry detail supervisor, security threat group (STG) coordinator, and institutional armorer. He also served 12 years on the Corrections Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Lane earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mid-Continent University and an associate degree in community justice from the Community College of the Air Force. He is a graduate of the Commissioner's Executive Leadership Program and a 22-year retired United States Air Force veteran.​
