District Supervisor - Cody Meinhardt
Meinhardt began his career with the Department of Corrections as a probation and parole officer in the Franklin office in June 2018. He transferred to the Bowling Green office in December of 2020, supervising a caseload in Warren County for District 3. In November 2022, Meinhardt promoted to assistant district supervisor for the Bowling Green office.
During his career, Meinhardt has served successfully in many various roles to give him the well-rounded experience necessary for his new role. He has served as a field training officer, Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Investigator, DNA collection trainer, Class D Pre-Release Coordinator, fentanyl responder, firearms instructor, safety officer and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) member. Additionally, he served on the American Correctional Association (ACA) Accreditation Compliance Team in 2023.
Meinhardt earned his bachelor's degree in criminology and sociology from Western Kentucky University and is a recipient of a District 2 Employee of the Quarter Award in 2019 and a District 3 Employee of the Quarter Award in 2022.
