District Supervisor - Steve Balentine
Balentine began his career with the Division of Probation and Parole in February 2006. He has served as assistant supervisor for District 1 since September 2009. He is the district's chief firearms instructor and armorer. He also serves as the district's public information officer, a PREA investigator, and is a member of the drug court team for McCracken County. He is a graduate of the 2016 Commissioner's Executive Leadership Program.
A U.S. Army veteran and a retired captain with the Paducah Police Department, Balentine is a graduate of Mid-Continent University where he earned a bachelor's degree in business. In addition, he is a member of the Paducah Lions Club and has received numerous leadership awards through the organization.
