District Supervisor - Chip McIntyre
McIntyre began his career with the state in 1998 as a youth worker with the Department of Juvenile Justice. In 2003, he transferred to the Division of Probation and Parole as an officer. McIntyre supervised a number of caseloads including a regular caseload, the Henderson County Drug Court caseload, and a sex offender caseload. Additionally, he was the class D officer for Henderson County for eight years, field training officer, and DNA trainer.
In April 2012, McIntyre was promoted to assistant district supervisor in District 13. As an assistant supervisor, he has served on the ACA compliance team and as District 13's eWarrants and KYOPS administrator. Since 2018, he has also been a PREA investigator.
McIntyre is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a 2003 graduate of Western Kentucky University where he earned a degree in sociology with a minor in criminology. He was the recipient of the 2008 Achievement Award for District 13.
