District Supervisor - Charece Brown
Brown began her career with the Division of Probation and Parole as an officer in District 9 in August 2006. During her years of service, she maintained a variety of specialized caseloads. She also served as a reentry liaison for District 9 and as such spearheaded the reentry focus in the district.
In 2012, Brown was promoted to assistant supervisor in District 9. Two years later she transferred to District 14 to serve as an assistant supervisor. During her time in District 14, she also served as the public information officer and PREA investigator. She has spent time in Central Office as a program administrator in the Division of Probation and Parole.
A 2000 graduate of Kentucky State University, Brown earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She is also a graduate of the 2013 Commissioner's Executive Leadership Program. Brown graduated from the Governor's Minority Management Trainee Program in 2019.
