Monday, June 08, 2009 Frankfort, Ky. (June 5, 2009) – Western Kentucky Correctional Complex achieved what auditors said few prisons had when the facility received a perfect score on its re-accreditation audit recently.

Wednesday, June 03, 2009 Frankfort, Ky. (June 3, 2009) – Nominated from the Department’s nearly 4,000 employees, 46 candidates were interviewed and 26 ultimately selected for the 2009 Commissioner’s Executive Leadership Program that kicks off in less than two weeks.
- Prison Receives Near Perfect Score in National Re-Accreditation Audit
Thursday, April 23, 2009 Frankfort, Ky. (April 23, 2009) – Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women (KCIW) received a near perfect score during its re-accreditation process this week with the American Correctional Association (ACA). The prison received a total score of 99.8 percent on their audit, the highest score the institution has ever received.
