District Supervisor - John Trenton VanHoose
VanHoose began his career with the Department of Corrections as a probation and parole officer in 2007. In that role he supervised clients in numerous counties, served as the firearms instructor for District 11, and wrote pre-sentence investigation reports. In 2011, he was promoted to assistant supervisor in District 11. In addition to his supervisory duties, VanHoose served on the ACA compliance team, assisted with field training, and acted as a PREA investigator.
A 2007 graduate of Alice Lloyd College, VanHoose received a bachelor's degree in social science with a minor in history. He is the recipient of the 2013 DOC Achievement Award for District 11.
