To protect the citizens of the Commonwealth and to provide a safe, secure and humane environment for staff and offenders in carrying out the mandates of the legislative and judicial processes; and, to provide opportunities for offenders to acquire skills which facilitate non-criminal behavior.

 District 20

District Supervisor - Jason Hardwick 

Hardwick is a 14 year veteran of the KY Department of Corrections who has dedicated his career to serving the Division of Probation and Parole.  Hardwick began his career with the Department of Corrections in May, 2001 as a probation and parole officer in Somerset. In January 2007, he was promoted to the assistant supervisor position in District 10. During his tenure with the department, he has served as a trainer for motivational interviewing, served on the community corrections board, and the Pulaski County Drug Court Team.  In January, 2012 Hardwick was promoted to the District Supervisor position in the newly formed District 20 Probation and Parole. Hardwick is a 1998 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is also a 2007 graduate of the Commissioner’s Executive Leadership Program.
