Deputy Warden Security Randy White
Randy White began his career as a correctional officer at Northpoint Training Center on March 25, 1996. White transferred to Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex during 1997 and was promoted to Classification and Treatment Officer on May 1, 1997 at the Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women. White was then promoted to Corrections Unit Administrator I at KCIW in 1998 and again to Correctional Unit Administrator II in 1999.
In 2004 White was mobilized with the Kentucky Army National Guard and spent the entire year of 2005 as a Squad Leader conducting combat patrols in Baghdad, Iraq. Upon return to work from military service White served as the Accreditation Manager at KCIW through the 2006 ACA Accreditation Audit and as a Unit Administrator II. On October 1, 2006 White was promoted to Deputy Warden III at LLCC.
White is a 1994 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Corrections/Juvenile Services, a Bachelor’s degree in Police Administration and a minor in psychology. White was the 2002 KCIW Employee of the year and a 2006 recipient of the Commissioner’s Award for the Department of Corrections.
White is a member of ACA and has served as a hostage/crisis negotiator and trainer.
