  • Hayden Promoted to Branch Manager over HIP/Re-Entry

    Frankfort, Ky. (October 6, 2008) – Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kimberly Potter-Blair today announced that Wendy Hayden has been promoted to a Branch Manager in Central Office. Hayden will oversee the Department’s Home Incarceration Program (HIP) and Re-Entry efforts.
  • Prison Receives Near Perfect Score in National Re-Accreditation Audit

    Frankfort, Ky. (October 6, 2008) – Northpoint Training Center in Boyle County received a near perfect score during its re-accreditation process this week with the American Correctional Association (ACA). The prison received a total score of 99.8 percent on their audit.
  • Three Corrections Professionals Named to New Positions in Realignment of DOC’s Division of Mental Health

    Frankfort, Ky. (September 24, 2008) – Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Al Parke today announced a realignment of the agency’s Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse that will move three employees into key positions of leadership. Dr. Elizabeth McKune, Dr. James Van Nort and Karyn Hascal have been selected to serve as Assistant Directors of the Division.
