To operate a safe and secure 200 bed female minimum-security institution in a humane positive manner.  This includes providing care, housing and control.  Program emphasis is directed at returning inmates to the community based upon their improved conduct and performance.  Inmates are encouraged to help themselves by participating in many program opportunities available to facilitate return to the community as a responsible part of society. Provide community service and operate a complete farming operation with the inmates using the skills that they have learned while incarcerated.
