Green River Correctional Complex


To protect the citizens of the Commonwealth and to provide a safe, secure and humane environment for staff and offenders in carrying out the mandates of the legislative and judicial processes; and, to provide opportunities for offenders to acquire skills which facilitate non-criminal behavior.

 Deputy Warden Ronald Beck 

Ronald E. Beck began his career in Corrections as a Correctional Officer at the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex in 1992.  He is a 1982 graduate of Central City High School and served 10 years in the United States Air Force.

In 1993, he was promoted to Correctional Sergeant.  In 1994 he was promoted to Correctional Lieutenant and transferred to assist with the opening of Green River Correctional Complex.

In 2000, he was promoted to Administrative Specialist III as the Procedures Officer. 

He was promoted to Deputy Warden III in 2005.
