Bell County Forestry Camp

Mission:

To protect the citizens of the Commonwealth and to provide a safe, secure and humane environment for staff and offenders in carrying out the mandates of the legislative and judicial processes; and, to provide opportunities for offenders to acquire skills which facilitate non-criminal behavior.

 Driving Directions

To reach the Bell County Forestry Camp traveling from north to south on I-75:

I-75 to the Corbin and Barbourville Exit (#29).

Turn left off Exit 29 onto the Cumberland Gap Parkway.

Stay on the Cumberland Gap Parkway through Barbourville and Pineville which is approximately (33) miles. The Cumberland Gap Parkway runs into the Bobby Madon Bypass which goes around the city of Pineville for approximately (2) miles and runs back into the Cumberland Gap Parkway.

Turn right off the Cumberland Parkway on Highway 190 which is about (5) miles from Pineville. Remain on Highway 190 for (12) miles.

Turn left on Highway 3492 (Chenoa Trail) which runs directly to the Bell County Forestry Camp after about (1/2) mile.
